Domestic Shipping Policy

All shipping deliveries from Bayside Exotics will require Adult Signature service. Adult Signature service fee will be automatically added to all orders.

An adult (21 years of age or older) is required to provide a valid government-issued ID to the delivery employee and sign for the package.

If it's more convenient for you, we're able to ship your order to a business address.

To assist with delivery requirements, we suggest the following tips:

Attempted Deliveries

Carriers may attempt to deliver your package at your address or your business address up to 3 times. Before deliveries, some regional carriers may text you in advance. After the attempted deliveries, you may receive a note on your door to re-schedule another delivery attempt and more information on how to retrieve your package.

Request a Location Pick-Up

Certain shipping carriers such as USPS does offer an option to schedule a time and location to pick up your package from an authorized facility. You may learn more about this option by visiting the carrier's website or contacting your local carrier's postal office.

Delivery Re-Attempt

To avoid missed deliveries, we recommend customers to follow tracking information closely. If you already missed a delivery attempt, make sure to follow the instructions on the door tag, if applicable, or any tracking indicators to ensure your delivery is made on the next attempt.

Gated Community or Apartments

If you are located in a gated community, we recommend to ship to a business address or another home address as regional carriers do not have gate access (only USPS had this access). For apartments, please make sure the delivery driver is able to properly access your front-door or an adult at the lobby is able to sign for the package.

Service Fee

The Adult Signature delivery service incurs an additional carrier's charge of $7 per order, which will be reflected at the time of checkout.

During COVID-19, customers are still subject to Adult Signature Fees as carriers has a new procedure in place to validate the order while adhering to new safety standards during the delivery process.

We are unable to ship packages with Adult Signature service to P.O. Boxes.

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt. Orders are not processed or shipped from Friday, 12 pm EST through Sunday, or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Bayside Exotics ships to addresses within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and unfortunately can not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Bayside Exotics is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).

Damages

Bayside Exotics is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please file a claim with the shipment carrier. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
